Poonam I can’t begin to tell you how shocked I was to read the news and how utterly sad I am for you and sweet Nyra. I understand that I only spent one week with you and your family at the Bagh, but you and Dicky made a long lasting impression on me. I love what you two have created, and the extreme care that you have put into wildlife conservation in India, especially in Ranthambore. And most importantly, the way you are raising your amazing, smart, headstrong girl Nyra. I respect so much about you and the life you and Dicky have built, and it breaks my heart to think about what you and Nyra must be going through. Dear Poonam. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for this tragic and shocking loss. Dicky has always been such a light and power and I have no words to express my feelings. I haven’t seen him many years but the small group we are from BMS lived on in chats and posts.
I pray for you to get the strength through this and be there for young Nyra.
Dear Poonam, I’m very sad to know about the untimely passing of Aditya sir. I worked on the One for Change films with Akanksha and I remember being in awe of you and your husband, and the work you have done in Ranthambore. The simplicity and warmth that came across has stayed with me. I hope the universe gives you and your daughter strength to get through this loss.
